| sorry everyone, ive been too lazy to write but since there is absolutly nothing to do here and i am so ready to go home its unbelievable.
FRIDAY
It was gina's b-day party for her friends and we didnt do much except go to the beach for a bit but it was so windy that there wasnt much to do. Taylor flew his kites, and then gang was wading in the water when she stepped on a rock and lost her balance and fell in the water. She was compleetely soaked and had to go back home. Paul knew this guy who owned this little pizza place up the road, so we went and had dinner there which was especially good since there was a nice view. (The guy had a hot son who answered the phone!! hehe but he was like 25 so no such luck) Then i went over to gina's and watched the finale of Big Brother. Nadie won!!! she was the woman who used to be a man. then i spent the night round her house.
SATURDAY
we got up and went to this little place by the lake and we paddled around a bit. It was extremely hot!!!! Then we rented some kyaks and that was really fun, then i jumped into the lake in my clothes. v. refreshing. Next we went back to the beach and had another paddle and went back to watch entrapment. ( the movie i rented wiht catherine zeta-jones and sean connery) Then we got fish and chips and ate it in the garden.
SUNDAY
Today we went top the triangle which is like this indoor pool thingy with slides and stuff. it was alright and i finished the second Brigid Jones' Diary which was v. funny and i reccomend it.we watched the footie on tv and i played checkers with gina on the trampoline. Then i went up the big hills with wendy, papa and mum to walk buddy and papa insisted on picking blackberries off a bush in the middle of a stinging nettle field for about 30 mins. v. annoying THen came back home and had a bit of curry thsat papa cooked and did prettyt much nothing for the rest of the evening. am sad that it is one of my last evenings but cant wait to get back home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

| I have been slaving over the computer all day and i still havent finished my science project. I still need to write numbers 10 and 11, and kinda 9 but it is really the same thing as 10 but whatever. Here is you update.
TUESDAY
I got up late and dragged myself out of bed then went to the replica of the sistine chapel with gina,gang and mum.This guy spent like 5 years doing an exact copy of the image in the sistine chaple in this tiny little church just down the road from my grandparent's house. Then after that we went down the town for shopping and i got some concealer and powder. Then i came home whilemy mom and gang went to the hospital for my grandmother's check-up for her cancer and now she is 100% cancer free. V.V. good news. Buddy came over to the house and while we were watching Mission Impossible, he decided he was hungry and ate the heel off my reefs.So then me and wen went back into the town and i bought another pair of flip-flops. luckily mom is going to get me another pair of reefs when i get home so im ok about it.
WEDNESDAY
We went to the aquarium in Brighton and stayed there for a couple of hours. It was v. cool and they had a giant octopus and we fed the sting rays with sardines. Then we went and layed on the beach a bit and wwent in the sea. It was freezing!!! Then once we got home me mum and gang got ready to go out to eat at this Thai restaurant. We picked up Joy and gang's friend Jo (mac's grandma) and met wendy there. They weren't very quick with the food(were there for 3 hours) but it was v. yummy. Then we took wendy in the car with us because she parked in the safeway's parking lot and it was quite a walk. But when we got to the parking lot wendy's car was locked in, so we had to drive her home and leave her car there.She had to pick it up this morning and luckily they didn't charge her.
THURSDAY
Today i got up and typed up my science project and biology paragraph, then had lunch and typed a little more. Later we have to go get our picture taken professionaly because we had one like it when we were all younger. now i have to go pick out what im gonna wear. Miss you guys and see you soon.

| Hello all
ok, yes i know im not very consistant but i always fill in the days. Im not sure how many people even bother reading it but i am determined to document my trip so everyone is going to have to deal with that.
So yesterday was another scorcher here in sunny ol england, and i spent 4 hours tanning on the beach and was highly successful! (i think i managed to get rid of my shorts tan!!) Then after that we went back to the house and i watched an Agatha Christie murder movie, which was pretty good, but nowhere near the books (i think i am the only one who cares about that little bit of info but whatever). Then we all went to this little field thing near the beach, and had yet another Bar-B-Q, and everyone played rounders ( kinda like baseball but the rules are slightly different) But unfortunatly that was dad's last day, so this morning at the ungodly hour of 7am we took him back to the airport. He is probably nearing Houston now, then will go home for a couple days and re-unpack the house then is off to LA for a Siggraph convention. We got back to gang's at about 10 and i walked down to the town to get stamps for all the postcards, and sent them, so they should be on the way. Then drove to arundel with wendy and co. and we rented a little motorboat for an hour on the River Arun. I got to drive it and i was the one who brought it back into the port even though i said i wouldnt be able to park it, and lo and behold it bumped rather hard into the bank. But the guy had a hold of the rope so it wasnt too bad. After the boat fiasco we went into the town to see what the shopping was like, and as i guessed it was crap. We went back to gang's and i worked on my neglected summer homework and now i am currently spazzing out about finishing it.
well have to go email biology teacher to see if its ok if i type up science project as handwwriting is crap

| Today was quite fun and as you can tell, it was my cousin Gina's birthday. One of the best parts of the day was that it was v. hot and sunny, so i got to catch up on my tan.
I got up and we went over to my Uncle Martin's house where i read the tabloids and tanned a bit. Then we headed over to Gina's because she was having a little get together with family and a couple of her little friends. We just hung around and ssat in the sun some more a did a bit more tanning. Then we went back to the house and everyone except me and gang took a nap. After a long exit, we finally got back to wendy's where we headed on to Brighton Pier, which is a cool hangout with the kids. We went on a couple of the rides, and poodled around on the pier. I went on the bumper cars, and two fast, spinny rides. Then we got doughnuts and chips on the way out then had to wait in traffic for an hour in the rush to leave. But while we were waiting in the car to get out, there were fireworks so we sat and watched those. Then we finally got back to wendy's and dropped off all gina's friends, then eventually back to gang's.

| * The ever elusive internet logged me off last night before i could send this message.
ok here is a very quick overview on my week in the new forest as this internet is pay as you go and big brother is on in a little while ( english version of real world -ish but better and i know v. shameful to be watching reality tv but is new secret indulgence i.e. watching other people make a prat of themselves on tv. hehe)
NEW FOREST
Friday
we unpacked then kinda explored the menthol gas filled countryside (porque de cows) and generally did squat (i.e. nothing)
Saturday
I went with my uncle paul ( yes brigid the one that kicked u with the soccerball) into salsbury and we had a coffee and then i bought a really cute skirt. Then when we got back a bunch of distant relatives came round our quaint little cottages and we had to spend the rest of the day with these boring kids who ended up being like our 5th cousins or something.
Sunday
We went into another dinky little country town to an open market which was terrible by the way, and then went and had a little boatride in this river nearby. They had a boatrace later in the day and taylor and jordan went against gina, and gina, my grandpa, and my uncle martin won against the boys and my dad. V. funny to see them accept the loss. And finally we had a bar-b-q back at the house.
Monday
We went into Poole which was a little more like a city than a town, and me and joy went shopping while everyone else hung a hook into the sea trying to catch crabs that they threw back anyway, so v. pointless. The shopping was v. successful and then we went home. * the evenings were v. uneventful and usually composed of eating then watching Big Brother bc there wasnt much of anything around there to do and there was a high concentration of small children. (my mother's cousin from new zealand had a 2 year old girl named riley and an infant named ruby (v. cute) also my uncle's gf's daughter's little boy kyle was there and he is absolutely adorable- so in a few words, lots of babies and people for that matter bc there were 20 of us)
Tuesday
we actually went into the new forest and it was very beautiful and we spent the day lounging on a picnic blanket and eating.not very eventful but i took a lot of pictures.
Wednesday
we went to stonehenge which was rather uneventful but interesting. then we went to the salsbury cathedral which has the tallest steeple in england and it had one of the 4 original copies of the magna carta so we saw that too. Then that evening we went around and mucked about in the farmer's haystacks which was surprisingly fun.
Thursday
The weather was quite warm all week with no rain but thursday was the sunniest so we went to a little park that had a paddling pool for the kids and lazed around some more. Then we went to a pub for lunch, and then made a cake for gina bc it is her birthday on the 31st. Jordan had a sore throat on monday and seemed to pass it around bc my throat hurts and joy has a fever, so feeling a bit under the weather.
Friday
we packed up and said goodbye to everyone and the adults were determined to do one more thing so we went to lynhurst which is a tiny little town. we had some chips for lunch and looked at the ferrari garage. ( weird place for a ferrari dealership as there wasnt much in the town but whatever) Then paul was intent on going to another poky little village and ended up having to circle around and around to find my parents then it took us another 3 hours to get back, when it should have taken only 1hr and a half. (bc we kept getting lost.) * by the way, the occupants of our 3 cottages were my family, gina, jordan, wendy, paul, gang and pops, pat and bob (pat is papa's sister) and their daughter miranda, mark(her husband), riley, ruby, martin ,julie, joy, kyle, and buddy
Now back at the house feeling like shit on a stick but oh well. I miss u guys alot and am looking forward to seeing you on the 10th. Its actually quite boring in worthing as i have no one to hang out with bc joy is always with her friends. All of which are over 16 and smoke and drink, which isnt a crowd i fit into very well. so you should be receiving your postcards soon . Love u loads

| Actually it sucks that im back bc it was really fun and now i know that my calling is to be a city girl and live in a big city. (New York or London would suffice- but London is really quite expensive) As we found out, A meal at Burger King could cost you £4 OR $8, so there are some downsides, but the markets more than make up for it. so here is the skinny on my trip.
TUESDAY
* Had breakfast at Tesco's (aka bought sausage rolls in a packet )
* Went to the Tower of London to learn all about the humble abode of the Queens and Kings of England. (well actually they didnt live there, it is more of a fortress for the city) We had a guide who was quite funny and gave us the grand tour and all the history. tHEN WE WENT AND SAW THE CCROWNED JEWELS WHICH WERE EXCEEDINGLY BEAUTIFUL. (oops sry bout the caps) There were some amazing diamonds about 2 inches in diameter.( The biggest diamond in the world)
*Then we walked across the Tower Bridge
*Next we walked up to the London Dungeons, but the line was around the corner so we didnt go then.
* We then returned to the Science museum as taylor didnt have the desired amount of shopping time in the gift shop.
* We had yet another meal at Tescos and ate our meal in covent gardden while watching the street performer.
* Then off to the Lion King which was absolutely phenomenal. The costumes were incedible and the music was great too. If you get a chance to see one show that was the one i would reccommend. (even though that was the only one i have seen)
WEDNESDAY
* We heard from my mom's friend's son that the Saatchi Gallery was really great, so we went and it was. There were all these people outside trying to convince you to come into the gallery by bribing you with a free t shirt, so we got the best end of that deal.
* We split up (mom with me and dad with taylor) and we went to The Globe to see Romeo and Juliet which was very very good. Taylor and Dad went to the London Dungeon and they had agood time as well.
* Next we crossed the Millenium Bridge (luckily it was fixed) and headed off to Harrod's for a look around. It was insanely expensive even though most things were on sale. I bought a little coin purse for my pounds ( how ironic) just so i could say that i had shopped at Harrod's.
* Finally, we went to CHinatown for dinner and had a look around at all the shops.
THURSDAY
* We got up and packed all our stuff up and left it at the hotel so we could go shopping at CAMDEN MARKET!!!!!!!!!
* By my exclamatiion i think you can tell that i enjoyed this particular part of London and you are absolutly right. I will show you my hord when i get back.
* Then came back to Worthing and packed again as we are off to the New Forrest tomorrow.
I am pretty sure that there wont be a computer there, but there is always hope, so i will fill you in when i get back , or maybe sooner if the computer gods permit.

So after that we went to the Scienc museum which was really cool, and i wish we had more time for it. The first exhibit was the secret to everyday machines in your home. It showed how a cd player works and they had a bunchof things from like the early 1900's and stuff. Then it was this think called the Launch Pad which was really for the kids, but it was all these hands on type things. Then we walked around a bit more and had to eat at Burger King bc we didnt know of eanywhere 3else to eat. well i have to get off again bc imj running out of time again but ill try and write tomorrow. | | comments: 2 comments or Leave a comment |
| | We are finally in the amazing city of LONDON!!!!!! After about an hourand a half on the train we finally reached Victoria Station. We went down to the underground station to buy our tickets for the day, and discovered that noon is the most popular time to buy tickets, sowe were stuck in a long line. Once we fibnally got our tickets, we headed for St.James Park to eat our lunch. We got off the subway and walked just down the street to the idyllic little park, complete with pond, green grass, and amazing enough, SUN!!!! There were people all around us just laying in the grass, and eating their lunch. Then we headed back to the underground to get to our hotel in Picadilly Circus. (Regents Palace Hotel) We were exceedingly lucky and managed to hit the rush hour again except now it was 2 and we were stuck waiting to check into our hotel. We finally got up to our room, which is livable but not posh.( it doesnt have a bathroom in the room either, you have to walk down the hall. ick!! but nvm) After a bit of a rest, we went back out into the wilderness to explore a bit. We came out of the subway, and the first thing we saw was the london eye ( biggest ferris wheel in the world). THen we crossed the street and were right under Big Ben and the houses of parlament. | Ooops!!! Ive been very bad about writing, sorry bout that. But it has been a very busy weekend.
FRIDAY
We packed our picnic in the morning and headed out to Arundel Castle to explore. We finally arrived after a little bit of a drive and pulled out our bread crusts to feed the ducks. There were two adult swans, 4 babies, some ducks and some very viscious seagulls that were very hungry. After feeding the animals we climbed up the hill, and to humor taylor and papa, we tried to fly the kites.(even though it was one of the least windy ddays of the past week) Then Martin and Julie and Kyle met us and we had our little picnic and sat with the sheep. That evening we went to the bowling alley for yet another one of Paul's parties for his 40th. It was pretty fun and i came in second place. As usual paul got quite drunk as is tradition for every one of his parties.
SATURDAY
We picked up my dad at the airport and before we left, switched taylor for gina because taylor decided that he would rather play with jordan. After that dad was whisked off to play paintball with paul and his mates for the final celebration ( 4 parties for his 40th)In the meantime, we went to see this bathtub race where these people all make boats that have a bathtub connected in some way, and race down a river. It was hilariuous and there was this one boat called the HMS Pinafore and all its drivers were men dressed up in drag. They had waterballoons for boobs and their boat was bright pink. The boys went to get their hair cut(both very short) then we came bback to gang's. Taylor spent the night round Jordan's so Gina came over here. Joy, of course wwent out with her friends and used the house as her personal primping zone and left all her junk in my room, so as payment i used her super-mega straightener whhich was like $200. My hair actually behaves after being fried into oblivion so i might actually buy a nice straightener whenn i get back. Oh yeah, then me and gina went down to the saea to walk off our dinner, and when we were walking back, there was this group of guys kinda waiting around in the street near gang's house. Ssso as we walked by them to get to the house they started whistling and yelling stuff at us, and me and gina nearly wet ourselves laughing and we got back into the house. Then later they knocked on the door and were asking for someone named John, which is probably why they were just standing out on the sidewalk. THey hung out there for like another hour before they finally left, and then we spent the rest of the evening watching tv and i ttried to teach gina the alphabet and numbers 1-10 in Spanish.
SUNDAY
Today was thouroughly boring because we did nothing till about 1 then we finally dragged ourselves out of the house to play PutPut of all things. Then after that gina left for a birthday party and i was left by myself at Gang's house with the oldens to do nothing at all. I did watch Jumanji just before everyone got back. Once everyone got here, we had curry, which was REALLY good but now am on the verge of bursting from too much food. Well i have to go finish packing for London then shower.

| Sorry about the delay, my grandmother's computer has been inconsistent yet agaain and i haven't been able to get online. But never fear, the computer has decided to be kind to me and finally connect to the internet.
Well... Wednesday we went down to the Worthing shops and managed to achieve absolutly nothing except buy some "sweets" to take back.Then after we went shopping we went to visit one of my mom's old friends, shirly and her two sons, Joe and Tim. We had met them last time and her youngest son, Joe, was the one who had ordered the basketball stuff, and i brought it back over for him. It wasnt very exciting but her oldest son, Tim, is going on this trip with his friends in october and its this ddeal where they buy a ticket ffrom this company and they get so many miles and you can travel all over the world with no time limit. One of his last stops is San Antonio so he is going to stay with us for a couple of days in February, so we can see how it went. Then after our visit over there, we went to my uncle Paul's 40th birthday party (yes, i know again but this was just family at his house) which was veery fun as the adults were very generrous with the Bacardi Breezers and Champagne (i dont think thats how u spell it but i cant be bothered to look it up). I only had one watermelon Breezer and a small glass of champagne, so it wasnt enough to get me drunk but i was a little light headed right after. I met Gina's cousins from Paul's side of the family ( his wife, wendy is my mom's sister), Alice and Grace. Alice is a little older than me and Grace is about 10 or 11. Then they brought out the shandys which are like my dad's n/a beers but much sweeter and for the kids. It was hilarious to see Taylor and Jordan with those and Gina was a bit cheeky and had a couple of sips of Alice's breezer. Well anyway it was very fun and paul was thouroughly spoiled with his presents.
Today i woke up and we had breakfast, then Jordan came over because he was "sick" but he really just wanted to play with Taylor. So then he brought the devil dog along and we all piled into the car and drove out to werte there was supposed to be a crop circle. Unfortunetly we were driving in a car that seated five with six passengers and a dog who was drooling all over the place, so as u can imagine it was a little cramped. So we finally get there and there is no bloody crop circle, so we pile back into the car and drive home. I then watched Pretty Woman (which was really good) and went down to the beach to test drive the go-cart my grandfather made for the local girl scouts (joy used to be in them and papa helped out but she dropped out so he stays to keep himself busy) and that was pretty fun. Then Joy came over with two of her friends (laura and laura) and then we met up with some of her other friends. She hangs out with people that are quite a bit older than her and most of the guys are about 17. Well we walked over to the first guy's hopuse because they were going to play soccer in the park and it eventually accumulatedto about 6 other guys and we followed them to the park and watched them play for a while. It got really cold after a rather uneventful time and me and joy walked back to my grandmother's house. Joy and i then watched "THe Whole Nine Yards", which was very funny and then "Brigit Jones' Diary" also a funny one. Then i had a shower now i am typing. By the way i am sorry for any typos or repeated letters as i am typing fast and am too lazy to go back and check it. Also i think i have broken a record for an obsene amount of runon sentences but as mentioned above, i cant be bothered to fix them. " This is Brigit Jones for Sit-up Britain, GoodNight" haha just kidding. well missing u all loads, and you all might be lucky to get a post ca\rd soon if im not too busy prancing about London. Hehe!!

| I WON A WHOLE £13 AT THE DOG RACES!!!!!! That is about $26 and I only spent £3($6) on extra races as my mom paid for 5 of them. ( £1 bid on each race) So I made a £10 ($20) profit!!!!!!! I got upp at about 11 today and now im being whisked off to Brighton to spend my winnings. :):):):)

| Hello all!
Yesterday i wrote a nice long entry about my day but as i was about to send my masterpiece my grandmother's computer went offline and then refused to reconnect but i will summerize yesterday for you.
* Woke up at five and couldn't get back to sleep because of jetlag.
* So i read a whole book (Digital Fortress by Dan Brown)
* Then went shopping for science project stuff (yuck!!!)
* Went grocery shopping and got some of the stuff you all requested
* Set up my science project (different soils and basil plants)
* Ate dinner and bed
Today i got up at the very familiar time of 10 o'clock and was whisked away to my cousin's house to go up to the downs( very pretty and steep hills) and to walk their very cute but insane dog who eats cell phones, more specifically my cellphone( he grabbed it out of my purse and decided to use it as a chew toy)
Because it will very soon be my uncle Paul's birthday (this wednesday) we are going to the greyhound races later to celebrate!!
I will write later if the computer permits

| My*Grandmother's*keyboard*is*sort*of*broken*so*the*asterisk*will*be*my*space*from*now*on.
Besides*some*turbulence*at*the*beginning*of*my*flight,everything*went*fine.We*met*my*cousins*at*the*airport*then*drove*back*to*their*house*to*pick*up*their*dog,Budweiser,usually*shortened*to*Buddy.He*is*sooo*adorable!!!So*after*we*recovered*from*the*arrival*back*to*my*grandparentshouse*(they*just*remodeled*their*attic*to*a*two*bedroom*one*bath*aptartment-like*thing)I*took*Taylor,Jordan(12),Gina(9),and*Buddy*down*to*the*beach.This*small*excursion*turned*into*a*long*trip*down*to*the*pier*which*is*at*least*a*mile*and*a*half*away*from*my*grandparents*house.~:0After*buying*everyone*ice*cream*because*that*is*just*the*nice*kind*of*person*i*am,@:)*we*called*my*grandparents*on*a*pay*phone*to*come*pick*us*up*because*we*were*too*lazy*to*walk*all*the*way*back*to*the*house.
Anyway,I*got*a*total*of*about*30mins.of*sleep*on*the*planeand*so*I'm*going*to*take*a*nap*because*I*am*falling*asleep*at*the*keyboard!!I*might*get*back*on*the*computer*after*my*nap*when*it*is*more*likely*that*you*all*will*be*up*(it*is*noon*over*here*and*about*6am*over*there)
